Gabriel Massey
Gabriel Massey has been tattooing professionally since 2007 and credits his early years of training under local tattooer Dan Martin at Scorpion Studios as a pivotal period in developing and honing his craft. He cites a wide array of influences from nature, music, cinema, literature, and history that pervade his body of work.
The majority of Gabriel’s tattooing can be categorized in two very distinct styles. He enjoys bold, bright Americana imagery, particularly traditional motifs of love and mortality. Gabriel also specializes in delicate and precise geometric blackwork and dotwork projects.
Gabriel’s interests outside tattooing include travel, design, architecture, and local cuisine. He is very pleased to live and work in Houston’s East End.
